      Have flown helos for over 12 years and this is one of the finest 4 channels helos I have ever seen. All the advances are great, height hold, 6 axis gyro, well made sturdy parts. This beats the V911 by a long shot.

        No you won't! There is no provision on the board of this heli for a satellite receiver. Unlike the E119 which has provision for S-bus satellites. Also the protocol for the E119 is now available on the multi radios but the E129 is a different protocol which is not available yet.

        Q: I'd jump on one of it weren't for these terrible transmitters with those dead-feeling stick gimbals. Anyone figure out how to bind one to a proper TX?

        This one is not as bad as some of them. It even has provision for fitting a neck strap. But of course, I would rather be using my Taranis. There is a sticking point though - because of the altitude hold, BOTH sticks have the up-down stick movement spring loaded to the centre. So if you are using conventional planes most of the time, you would have to either dedicate a transmitter to this heli, or open up the Tx and reset the spring loading each time you fly this one after flying one of your planes.

        Q: Why are buyers asked to choose a Mode when purchasing this helicopter? The supplied transmitter can very easily be switched from Mode 1 to Mode 2 and vice versa. You just hold down the button on the top right corner while turning it on, and it will switch to the mode different from the one it was in previously. So whether you choose Mode 1 or Mode 2, you will receive the same transmitter.

        Incorrect, the transmitter is different between the two versions. You can change the mode, but it will default back when you turn it off. So if you are a Mode 2 flyer you really are better off getting the Mode 2 version, otherwise you'll forget to change the mode one day and crash.

        Q: Hi I bought two E129 helicopters and both of them always fly to the left side. After I press the right side trim button, I still have the same problem and I even used the left side trim button. Now both the helicopters are flying extremely to the left and not even flying high.         In order to recalibrate the gyros, you have to put both stick in the lower left corner and wait for confirmation beep. Regarding trims, they work by increments, you have to push several times on the button until you get the amount of correction right. But dont forget that this helicopter is ultra light and can be easily affected by air movement. If you have a doubt and want to confirm it is the heli, just make a half turn using rudder and see if the heli is still drifting in the same direction. Regarding trims, when you push on the trims the center position is indicated by a longer beep. Try recentering the trims and perform a calibration.

        I don’t think it works that way all the time. Each different model number may just have different features and not necessarily “better or faster”. It would prob be safer to check each models features to compare them.
